In this article, you will learn how to make a very simple lettuce salad that also tastes good. This will be helpful especially when one is in a rush, or just too lazy to make a proper lunch.
Ingredients
- Lettuce
- 2 large lemons or vinegar
- Cooking oil
- Sugar
Steps
-
1Wash lettuce. Separate lettuce from the cluster. If the lettuce is from the garden, then you will need to soak it in salt water or use a drop of bleach to make sure it is properly clean.[1]
-
2Cut lettuce. Cut the lettuce in whatever size you want, but preferable large cuts on a tray or bowl.[2]Advertisement
-
3Put the cut lettuce aside.
-
4Squeeze the lemons. If you are using lemon, then squeeze the lemons into a cup.[3] If you are using vinegar, then pour a reasonable amount into a cup.
-
5Add sugar to the vinegar or lemon. The amount of sugar should be enough to have a thick syrup-like consistency. Mix it very well that the sugar crystals are not visible.
-
6Put a small amount of cooking oil into the "syrup". Mix well.
-
7Use a spoon to spread the lemon/vinegar syrup on the cut salad. Mix lightly.
-
8Slice the tomatoes and onions and add them to your salad. This is optional.Advertisement
