Are you tired of shelling out large amounts of money for exfoliants you find in drugstores? This DIY facial mask is quick, cheap, and makes a great addition to any spa day at home. By reusing coffee grounds, you'll feel resourceful and look great doing it.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp of used coffee grounds
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of honey
- 1 tsp of brown sugar
- 1 egg
Steps
-
1Crack the egg in a bowl, then add each remaining ingredient.
-
2Use a whisk or fork to combine the ingredients. Combine until the mixture is thick and creamy. This mixture will serve as your mask.[1]
-
3Spread the mask evenly over your face. If necessary, use a headband to keep your hair out of the way. Take care not to get the mask into your eyes or mouth.
-
4Wait 10 minutes. The mask should harden during that time.[2]
-
5Rinse off the mask. For best results, use a warm washcloth and water.[3]

Viktoriya MyrutenkoCommunity AnswerIf you have oily skin, you should still only use the mask 3-4 times a week. If your skin is drier, then you should use it once or twice a week.
