Steps

1Open your iPhone's Settings. Do so by tapping the grey gear icon on one of your Home screens (it might also be in a folder named "Utilities").

2Scroll to the third group of options and tap General.

3Scroll to Accessibility and select it.

4Scroll to the third group of options and select Touch Accommodations.

5Slide the Ignore Repeat button right to the "On" position. Ignore Repeat ignores all but the first of multiple taps if they fall within a certain time parameter (e.g., 0.50 seconds).

6Adjust the ignore repeat time. Tap + or - to do so.

7Slide the Hold Duration button right to the "On" position. With Hold Duration enabled, you have to briefly hold your finger down for a touch to register.

8Adjust the hold duration time. To do this, tap + to increase the amount of time it takes for a touch to activate, or tap - to decrease the amount of time.

9Slide the Touch Accommodations button right to the "On" position. It should turn green.
