A Washington Apple is a delicious cocktail. Perfect for those summer nights or mid-day barbecues, it has a tart, sweet taste. Not only is the drink enjoyable, it is also incredibly easy to make. The drink has 3 key components: whiskey, sour apple schnapps, and cranberry juice. This drink can be enjoyed in multiple ways. You can drink it like a martini, take it as a shot, or sip it as a highball. Grab your cocktail shaker, pour, shake, and serve!

1 fl oz (30 mL) of Canadian whiskey
1 fl oz (30 mL) of sour apple schnapps

Making a Washington Apple in a Shaker

Pour Canadian whiskey, sour apple schnapps, and cranberry juice into a shaker. Use 1 fl oz (30 mL) each of the whiskey, schnapps, and juice.

Add ice and shake the mixture. Toss in a few cubes of ice, put the top on the shaker, and shake it vigorously to mix the drink.

Enjoy the drink in a chilled martini glass. Pour the drink through a fine strainer into a chilled martini glass and savor the flavor of this cocktail. Garnish with fanned apples on a cocktail pick, if desired.

Add Canadian whiskey, sour apple schnapps, and cranberry juice to a highball glass. Pour in 1 fl oz (30 mL) of each liquid.

Put some ice in the glass. Add a few ice cubes into the glass and stir it to mix up the liquids.
