Signing Up as a Student

    Go to https://www.schoology.com. Use any browser on your computer, phone, or tablet.

    Hover over SIGN UP. This is in the upper right corner of the screen.

    Select Student. A new window or tab will pop up.

    Enter the 10-digit access code provided by your instructor/teacher. Type the code in and click Continue.

    Enter your first and last name, and provide your email. If you register with a username instead of an email address, you will have to log in with your school name[1] .

    Click Register to finish signing up. You will be automatically enrolled in the course that is tied to the access code you provided.
    • To add another course, click on Courses at the top, then click Join a Course. Enter the access code, then click Join.[2] .

    Enter the 12-digit access code provided by your child's instructor/teacher. Type the code in and click Continue.

    Fill out the form. Enter your first and last name, and provide your email as well as a password.

    Click Register to finish signing up. Make sure to tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use[3] .

Signing Up as an Instructor

    Go to https://www.schoology.com. Use any browser on your computer, phone, or tablet.

    Hover over SIGN UP. This is in the upper right corner of the screen.

    Select Instructor. A new window or tab will pop up.

    Fill out the form. Enter your first and last name, and provide your email as well as a password.

    Tick the box next to "I am not a robot".

    Click Register to finish signing up. You can un-tick the box if you do not wish to receive email updates from Schoology.

    Search for your school. Type in the school's name and click the search icon. You can also search with the postal/zip code.

    Select your school from the list. If you do not see it listed, you will have to ask Schoology to add it. Click Request to Add Your School[4] .
