Steps

    Open the Google Sheets app on your Android. The Google Sheets app looks like a white table on a green sheet icon. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap the file you want to edit. Find and tap the spreadsheet you want to edit on your list of saved sheets.

    Tap the A1 cell on the top-left. All the rows are numbered on the left-hand side of your screen. Find cell A1 in the upper-left corner of your spreadsheet, and tap the cell to

    Tap and hold the row number next to A1. Find the row number "1" next to the cell, and long-press on the number. This will open your options on a pop-up menu.

    Tap the icon on the pop-up menu. This button is located on the right-hand side of the pop-up bar. It will open a drop-down menu.

    Tap FREEZE on the menu. This will freeze the first row, and pin it at the top as your header row.
    • You can scroll down the sheet, and you'll still be able to see your header row at the top.

    Fill out your header details. Tap a cell on the frozen header row, and type your header for that column.
