    Prepare all ingredients and cooking supplies needed.

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

    Grease 2 8" round cake pans with butter and line the bottom of each pan with a greased parchment circle.

    Stir together all of the dry ingredients except for the sugar and set aside. This includes the brown rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, kosher salt, baking powder, and xanthan gum.
