Part 1
Part 1 of 2:
Making the Apple Pie

  1. 1
Lay one pie crust centered on a pie pan. If your pie crust was frozen, ensure that it is thawed first.
    • You can sprinkle on some flour onto the pie crust to have texture and prevent sticking if you'd like.
  2. 2
Open your can of apple pie filling and pour it into the pie crust. Spread it evenly.
    • Leave a little apple syrup from the can to garnish the top.

  3. 3
Pinch the pie crust's overhang onto the edge of your pie pan.
  4. 4
Place the second pie crust above the first. Pinch the overhang of the pie crust to the edge of the pie pan.
  5. 5
Cut an X in the center of the top to let air flow through. Now, use your leftover apple syrup to garnish the top. Get a pastry brush and brush the syrup all over the top. This will make the top shiny and sweet when it's baked.

Part 2 of 2:
Baking and Eating the Apple Pie

  1. 1
Preheat the oven to 450F. Place the Apple pie onto the middle rack. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
    • Take it out of the oven when the crust is cooked. You can check by pricking it with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it is cooked.
  2. 2
Place it on the stovetop or a metal rack to let it cool off to your liking.
    • Make sure it will not burn you.
  3. 3
Enjoy! It is now ready to serve. Cut it into 8 or 12 even slices! It can also be served at room temperature or refrigerated, whatever fits your liking!
