Select apples, peaches or pears to make this easy fruit filled tortilla snack or dessert. You might even want to give this a try for a quick breakfast. Serve with a glass of nice cold milk. Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas, 8 inch (20.3 cm) size
- 2 medium peaches, pears, or apples
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- Sugar, optional but nice
Steps

1Heat the tortillas in a conventional oven or in the microwave oven.

3Choose the fruit you want to use. Prepare the fruit by peeling the fruit and then chopping into bite-size pieces.

4Divide the chopped fruit equally between the 4 tortillas and spoon the fruit onto half of the tortilla.

5Mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl.

6Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the fruit.

7Roll up the tortillas starting at the end where the chopped fruit is at.

8Lay the fruit filled tortillas on an ungreased baking sheet.

9Cut slits into the tortillas to allow steam to escape.

10Brush with milk and sprinkle with additional sugar, if desired.

11Bake 8 to 12 minutes.
