It's quite simple to make different kinds of smoothies. They are delicious and healthy. It takes a lot of experimenting, but here are a few ideas.

1Place about a 1/2 cup of ice in the blender.

2Decide which kind of fruit you want to use in your smoothie, and prepare them by peeling, cutting, removing seeds, etc.

3Combine different kinds of fruit, such as: banana and strawberry, kiwi and strawberry, orange and apple, apple and banana, etc. Use your imagination and mix what sounds best to you!

4Add fruit juice to enhance the flavor, such as grape juice or grapefruit juice, apple juice, etc. What separates a smoothie from just a glass of juice is that it is mixed with something that thickens it into a shake-like consistency. You have several options for this thickener: yogurt, sherbet, sorbet, ice cream, gelato, and ice all work. You might have noticed that some of those options are healthier than others, and you'll have to decide whether you want to optimize for flavor or nutrition in your smoothie.
