|date=2016-05-12}}This article teaches you how to make fun, easy arm warmers! They may not be the best, but they still look cute and (if you take your time and do it right) look store bought.
Steps
-
1Pick a pair of socks or tights (long ones are best).#
-
2Pick a design that is original and fits yourself, if you have a pair of socks that are a certain color or certain pattern, use them. They look best if you are an original person.
-
3Cut a small hole where the heel of your foot is supposed to go in the sock (a little smaller than the size of a quarter) for your thumb.
-
4Put the socks over your hands with your thumbs through the holes, and look at the tip of the socks (where your fingers are). Then estimate where you should cut it.
-
5Cut off the top of the socks.
-
6Slip them on your arms, and you're ready to go!
-
7Finished.
Warnings
- Be careful not to cut too much of the sock when making the thumb holes. It won't fit right or look good if the hole is too big. Thanks!
- If they're not clean, they won't look good. So please, wash them! Thanks!
- Do not cut yourself!Thanks!
- Be especially careful if you are cutting while your hands are in the socks. Never cut parts of fabric that are touching skin. Thanks!
