Do you want something yummy, but want it to be easy and quick? Try these yummy chocolate balls. This is a no-bake recipe that's very well-known in Sweden.
Ingredients
- 100g room-temperature (7 tbsp.) butter
- 80g (a heaping 1/3 cup) sugar (preferably white, but may be any)
- 100g (1 cup) rolled oats
- 6g (1 tbsp.) cocoa powder
- 2g (1 tsp.) vanilla powder
- Drip coffee
- Powdered sugar, coconut powder, or oats
Steps
-
1Brew the coffee and let it cool before use.
-
2Add the butter, sugar, rolled oats, cocoa powder, and vanilla powder into the bowl.
-
3Check the coffee to make sure it's not hot, and then pour 2 tablespoons (29.6 ml) of it into the bowl.
-
4Use your hands to knead the bowl's contents into a dough-like mixture. There should not be any clumps of butter when you're done.
-
5Take a piece of the dough and roll it until it turns to a ball. Continue with the rest of the dough and make sure they're the same size. If you like, you may try making different shapes with them!
-
6Roll the balls in coconut powder, confectioners sugar/pearl sugar or oats (or be creative and use something else).
-
7Put the balls in the fridge for a few hours or until they're hard. But that's not necessary if you like them soft and warm. Try them both ways, and pick your favorite!
-
8Eat all you want of your new delicious chocolate balls!
