Most hamburgers are grilled on a stove or outdoor grill, making them tasty treats for lunch or dinner. Baked hamburgers, however, are made in the oven and are simple and quick to make. Moist, juicy, and slightly sweet-flavored too, these baked hamburgers make an easy meal to enjoy on a bun.

Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 hamburger buns (optional)

1Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit (176° Celsius).
