How to Invite Someone to Viber on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to send an invitation link to one of your phone contacts, and invite them to sign up for a new Viber Messenger account, using Android.

Steps

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.
- If Viber opens up to a recent chat conversation, tap the
  icon on the top-left to go back to your Chats list.

Tap the CONTACTS tab. This button is located at the top of your screen. It will open a list of all your contacts.

Tap ALL at the top of your CONTACTS list. This option is located next to VIBER in the upper-right corner of the list of your contacts.
- This option will show a list of everybody in your phone contacts, including those who don't have Viber yet.

Tap the contact you want to invite. This will open a new window with your contact's information.

Tap the purple Invite to Viber button. This button is located below your contact's name and profile picture. A list of invitation methods will slide in from the bottom of your screen.

Select an app to send your invitation. You can use an instant chat app, social media, a text message or email to send your invitation.
- This will open your invitation in the selected app.

Send your invitation using the selected app. This will send an invitation link to your contact, and ask them to sign up to Viber via your invite.
- Depending on the app you're using here, you may be prompted to select the contact you want to invite from your contacts list again.
