In the following article we will learn how to install aftermarket, replacement headlights on the 2002 through 2004 Acura RSX. The actual product shown is here http://www.rvinyl.com/Custom-Headlights-2LHP-RSX02G-TM.html but the procedure can be used with any aftermarket or OEM replacement headlamp.

Steps

    Open the hood of your vehicle.

    Locate and remove six plastic clips
  3. 3
    From underneath the bumper, remove eight more plastic clips
  4. 4
    Remove four screws from under the bumper as well
  5. 5
    Remove hidden screw that connects the bumper to the fender with screwdriver.
  6. 6
    Remove the bumper by gently rocking it from side to side.
  7. 7
    Remove plastic shield.
  8. 8
    Remove four screws from headlight.
  9. 9
    Unplug corner signal light.
  10. 10
    Remove screws and bracket from headlight. You will use the bracket to attach the replacement.

    Remove driving light and sockets.

    Install bracket and sockets on new light.

    Plug in all harnesses and connectors (including turn signal harness).

    Replace headlight screws.

    Follow steps 1 through 7 in reverse order.

  • 10mm Socket
  • 1/4" Driver Extension
