    Open Excel on your Android. It’s a green icon with a white “X” inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

    Tap the A with a pencil. It’s in the green bar at the top of the screen. A menu will expand at the bottom of the sheet.

    Remove the check mark from “Gridlines.” It’s the second option from the top of the list. As long as this box remains unchecked, the lines around each cell remain invisible.
