Mixer is a streaming app from Microsoft similar to Twitch. Sparks are a currency used on Mixer. Sparks can be earned by watching a streaming channel or by streaming yourself. Using a PC or Mac

    Navigate to https://mixer.com/ in a web browser. You can use any web browser on PC or Mac.
    • If you are not signed in automatically, click Sign In in the upper-right corner and click Sign In with Microsoft or Other ways to sign in. Then sign in with the email address and password associated with your Mixer account.

    Click a channel. A number of channels are displayed on the front page of Mixer. You can also browse channels by clicking Following, or Top Channels at the top of the page. You can also click Games to browse channels by the game they are streaming.
    • To search for a channel by name, click Following, or Top Channels at the top of the page. Type the name of the channel you want to view in the search bar at the top of the page.

    Click Skills. It's next to a yellow icon that resembles a comet. It's just below the video playback in the lower-right corner of the window. This displays a pop-up menu.

    Click the Sparks tab. It's at the top fo the pop-up menu that appears when you click Skills.

    Click a sticker. This displays the sticker in the chat and donates Sparks to the streamer. The amount of Sparks that is donated is displayed below the sticker in the Skills menu. Stickers start a 100 Sparks. You gain more sticker options the higher your account level is.[2]

Using the Mobile App

    Open the Mixer mobile app. It has a blue icon with an "X" on it. Tap the Mixer icon on your home screen, or apps menu to open Mixer.
    • If you are not already signed in, tap Sign In/Up at the bottom left of the title screen. Tap Continue if prompted, then tap Sign In. Sign in with your email address and password associated with your Mixer account.

    Tap a streaming channel. There are a number of streaming channels displayed on the front page of the Mixer app. You can tap one of the channels on the front page or tap Following at the bottom of the screen to see channels you follow.
    • To search for a channel by name, tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner and type the name of the channel you want to view in the search bar.

    Tap the icon that resembles a yellow comet. It's in the lower-right corner of the chat. This displays the skills menu.

    Tap the Sparks tab. It's the third tab at the top of the screen. This displays a list of stickers.

    Tap a sticker. This displays the sticker in the chat and donates Sparks to the streamer. The number of Sparks that each sticker donates is listed below the sticker in the Skills menu. Stickers start at 100 Sparks. The higher level your account is, the more sticker options you have.
