How to Get a Verified Twitch Account on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to get a verified partnership deal with your Twitch streamer account, and receive a "Verified" badge next to your username, using an iPhone or iPad. In order to apply for verified partnership, you will first have to verify your email address, and complete the "Path to Partner" achievements with your streamer account.

Verifying Your Email

Open the Twitch app on your iPhone or iPad. The Twitch icon looks like a white speech bubble and a " ` ` " icon on a purple background. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.

Tap the purple Tap here to verify your account box. If your email address is not verified, you'll see a purple banner at the bottom of your screen for verification. Tap on it to re-send the verification code to your email.
- Your verification code will be sent to your email address as a new message.
- If you don't see this purple box at the bottom, your email address is already verified.

Open the verification email from Twitch in your mailbox. Go to your mailbox in your browser or mail client, and open the automated verification message from Twitch.

Note down your 6-digit verification code. You'll find a unique, 6-digit verification code in the automated email message. Note it down before you switch back to the Twitch app.

Enter your verification code in the Twitch app. Type the 6-digit code from the automated email to the verification page in the Twitch app.

Tap Submit. This is a purple button below the code field. It will confirm your verification code, and verify your email address.
- Alternatively, tap the Resend code button to receive a new email message with a new code.

Becoming a Verified Partner

Research source} In order to apply for a verified partnership with your streamer account, you must:
- Reach 50 followers.
- Stream for 25 hours in the last 30 days.
- Stream for 12 unique days in the last 30 days
- Reach 75 average viewers in the last 30 days

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad. Find and tap the blue compass icon on your home screen or in an app folder to open your internet browser.
- Alternatively, you can use a different browser like Chrome, Firefox or Opera.

Go to https://www.twitch.tv/partner/signup in your browser. Type or paste this URL into the address bar, and press the blue Go button on your keyboard.
- You can find the Twitch Partner Application form here.
- If you're not automatically signed in to your Twitch account, you'll be prompted to sign in in a pop-up window. Enter your username and password, and tap Log In here.

Fill out the Partner Application form in Safari. The application form will require you to enter your streamer username, email, full name, and a description of your channel.
- The "Description" field gives you a lot of room to explain and demonstrate why you would make a good Twitch partner. Make sure to give specific examples, and clearly explain why you want a channel partnership.
- Optionally, you can link your YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook accounts on the application form. A significant social media presence will usually help get a partnership deal more easily.

Tap the Send Application button. This is a purple button at the bottom of the application form. It will send your application to Twitch staff for review.

Wait for an email response to your application. Twitch staff will manually review your application, and respond via email within 7 days.^{[2]
