This wikiHow teaches you how to purchase Xbox Live Gold on Android. Although you can't sign up for Xbox Live Gold through the Xbox app, you can purchase Xbox Live Gold through the Xbox mobile website on any mobile browser.

Steps

Go to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live in a web browser. Using your Android phone's mobile web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, go to the Xbox Live Gold site and log in to your Microsoft account.
- If you need to sign in, tap "☰" in the upper-left corner, then tap "Sign In" in the upper-right corner. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your Xbox Live account.

Tap Join Xbox Live Gold. It's the green button above "Create an Account".

Tap Join Today. It's the green button in the middle of the page.

and choose a subscription option. Tap the down arrow in the drop-down menu and select one of the following options:
- One month for $9.99.
- Three months for $24.99.
- Twelve months for $59.99.

Tap Join Now. It's the blue button below the drop-down menu.

Verify your payment method. You will see the name and last four digits of the credit or debit card on your Xbox Live account. If this is not the card you want to use, tap "Change", then tap "Add a new payment method".

Tap Subscribe. It's the blue button on the bottom. You now subscribe to Xbox Live Gold.
