This wikiHow teaches you how to get multiple lines in an Instagram bio on Android. You can add additional lines in your bio by tapping the Enter button.

Steps

Open Instagram. The Instagram app has a rainbow colored icon with an image that resembles a camera. Tap the Instagram icon on your homescreen to open the Instagram app.
- The Instagram app is available for Android from the Google Play Store.
- If you are not already signed in to Instagram, type the username and password associated with your Instagram account and tap Log In.

Tap the profile tab. It's the tab that resembles a person in the lower-right corner. This displays your user profile page.

Tap Edit Profile. It's the button to the right of your profile image at the top of the page. This displays all your editable profile information.

Tap on "Bio". This displays your bio at the top of the page.

Type the first line of your bio. The bio line is at the top of the page. Tap it and then use the on-screen keyboard to type the first line of your bio.

Tap ↵ Enter on the keyboard. This creates a line-break in your text, and adds a second line.

Type the second line of text. Repeat these steps for as many lines as you need.
- If you have more a couple lines, people who view your bio will need to tap "view more" to see your entire bio.

. It's the checkmark in the upper-right corner of the screen. This saves your bio and takes you back to your profile screen. Review your profile to make sure it looks the way you want it.
