How to Forward Wechat Messages on an iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to forward a WeChat message to another user using your iPhone or iPad.

Steps

Open WeChat on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the green icon containing two white chat bubbles. To find it easily, swipe to the right on the home screen, type wechat into the search bar, then tap WeChat in the search results.

Tap Chats. It’s the first icon at the bottom of the screen. A list of conversations will appear.

Tap a conversation. Its contents will appear.

Tap and hold a message in the conversation. A pop-up menu will appear.

Tap Forward.

Tap New Chat.

Select a recipient. If you don’t see the friend to whom you want to forward the message, type their name into the search bar at the top of the screen, then select them from the search results.
- You can tap additional friends to forward to multiple people at once.

Tap Done. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. A pop-up message will appear.

Add your own message. If you want to include some context for the forward, type it into the “Leave a message” field. This is optional.

Tap Send. The message will now forward to the selected recipient(s).
