Do you love animals and dream of creating a pack of them with your friends? Now you can! You can role play as any animal as long as you know how to form your pack and how to make it fairly realistic.
Steps
-
1Collect members. If you want to be an outsider and live with up to four people or less, you are not a full pack, and therefore your miniature pack does not have to have a name. Members who want to be part of a pack should join a pack with at least five people or more.
-
2Decide ranks for your pack. Miniature packs do not have ranks. There must be a leader, and the fairest way to do this is to hold an election. Remember not to vote for yourself! If there is a tie, have a mini wrestle or rock-paper-scissors battle, then let the audience vote for who they think is the best. The rest of the pack can decide whether he or she wants to be a standard member, elder, nurse, pup/kid, or another role.
-
3Decide what animal the members in the pack will be, and this includes mini packs, hold an election, if there is a draw, have everyone vote on the top two. Or let the leader decide.
- It is perfectly okay to have multiple different species of animals to be, just as long as the other members agree.
-
4Name your pack. This is optional for mini packs. Try to use creative names instead of a more common one. Hold an election for the pack names and if there is a tie, let the leader decide.
-
5Decide your characters' name, gender, appearance, and backstory. You don't have to, but it's more fun and makes your pack more realistic.
-
6Make your pack unique. Create an emblem that is placed around your territory and on the items your pack uses. Make up traits that only your pack has.
- If your pack is in a public area, do not vandalize property. It is illegal and can give your pack a bad name.
-
7Map out your territory. Make sure this is a place accessible to all members. Mini packs can have territory, as they may migrate often. Make sure the territory is a place where the members can access, such as part of a school or a nearby park.
- Please don't prevent other people who are not roleplaying from using or being an area that is claimed as territory by your pack.
-
8Get ally packs. Once you have about 10-20 members, try to form alliances with other packs. After all, there is strength in numbers.
-
9Get rival packs. Once you've got 20-30 members, start turning down offers for others to join your pack or let the leader decide. If you decline, you could suggest they create a rival pack.
-
10Have battles and border raids. These can be acted out as mini wrestles or rock-paper-scissors battles. If one of the animals leading the raid backs down, the other pack will win.
-
11Let everyone know about it! Create posters to put near your school, but not on school premises. Make sure it is in a place where people can see. Make sure they know how to contact you if they want to join. You could even designate a time where wannabe pack members can visit you at your house!
-
12Get the leader to make about three to five rules that all pack members must obey. This allows for the clan members to bond and also allow for good or bad characters!
-
13Roleplay life in the pack. This can include anything from inducting new members, to battles, and even crazy things like alien invasions! Just make sure the leader is okay with roleplaying some scenarios.
Community Q&A
-

Aria JohnsonCommunity AnswerSure, if you can get up a good one. Just be careful to avoid getting hurt, that would be no one's fault but your own. -

Community AnswerYou certainly can, but most commonly wolves are only part of one pack. If you'd like to break away and form your own pack, make sure your pack leader knows why! Be honest with them, but try not to hurt their feelings. Some pack leaders may be offended or upset that you're leaving, so make sure they know it's not personal. -
QuestionWhat should I do if I don't have that many friends?
Community AnswerYou could just have a small animal pack, but it would be better for you to try making more friends! I suggest reading through wikiHow's article on making friends for some help. -
QuestionWhat if there is nobody who wants to join my pack?
Community AnswerIf you don't mind, just be an independent wolf. This will be easier for you since you don't have to argue about your pack's ideas and just make your own. -
QuestionWhat do I do if I'm scared to ask people to join my animal pack?
Community AnswerThere's nothing to be scared of! Start by asking your closest friend, and if they say yes, ask someone else, and so on until you have your pack. I'm sure your friends will say yes, it's fun! -
QuestionWhere can I find people who would be willing to join an animal pack?
Community AnswerYou can ask your friends or advertise through social media, if you're on it. -
QuestionWhat do I do if no one wants to join my animal pack?

Warnings
- Don't seriously injure anyone. You can push or shove gently, or gently grab them, or have arm wrestles. Thanks!
- Do not let your pack disrupt your schoolwork! You can quietly roleplay in class, especially if you are a kid, you can pretend you are learning some new skills! Just don't let the teacher hear you, or it's detention and there certainly is no fun in that! Thanks!
