This wikiHow teaches you how to keep tabs on your favorite Instagram hashtags by following them on your Android.
Steps

1Open Instagram on your Android. It’s the purple, pink, and yellow icon with a white camera inside. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer and/or on the home screen.

2Find the hashtag you want to follow. You’ll usually find hashtags in your friends’ posts. You can also search for them. Here’s how:
- Tap magnifying glass at the bottom of Instagram.
- Tap the Search bar at the top of the screen.
- Type the hashtag (or the first several letters of the hashtag) you want to find and then tap the Search key.
- Tap the TAGS tab at the top of the screen to show only hashtags.

3Tap the hashtag. This takes you to a screen that shows posts people have shared when using that hashtag. You’ll also see related hashtags at the top of the screen.

4Tap Follow. It’s the blue button at the top-center part of the screen. The button will change to “Following.”
- When following a hashtag, more posts with that hashtag will appear in your feed.
