This wikiHow teaches you how to locate an iPhone backup folder you've saved to your Mac, using iTunes.
Steps

1Open iTunes on your Mac. The iTunes icon looks like a purple-and-blue music note in a white circle. You can find it on your desktop Dock or in the Applications folder.

2Click the iTunes tab on the menu bar. You can find it next to the Apple button in the upper-left corner of your screen. This will open the app menu.

3Click Preferences on the menu. This will open your iTunes app settings in a new pop-up.
- Alternatively, you can open iTunes, and press ⌘ Cmd+, on your keyboard. This shortcut will also open Preferences.

4Click the Devices tab at the top of Preferences. The Preferences window opens up to General Preferences. Switch to the Devices tab by clicking the iPhone icon at the top of the window.

5Right-click the backup you want on the list. Here, you'll see a list of all your saved backups in the "Device backups" box. Right-click a backup to see your options.

6Click Show in Finder on the right-click menu. This will open the selected backup folder in a new Finder window.

7Find the backup folder in the Finder window. The backup you select in the "Device backups" list will be highlighted with blue in the Finder window.
