How to Find Xbox Gold Free Games

This wikiHow teaches you how to get free games with your XBOX Live Gold membership. You can get 2-4 free games every month as part of your membership (2 on Xbox One and 2 on Xbox 260). Games appear on the 1st and 16th of every month, and are yours to keep as long as you have an active Gold membership^{[1]

Using Your XBOX Console

Select Store from the XBOX home screen. This is in the top menu on the right side.
- To select it, move the analog stick over the option until it turns blue, then tap the A button.

Select Memberships. This is a little further down on the screen. Tap the analog stick down until it's highlighted, then tap A to select it.

View the games in the "Xbox Live Gold" section. Free games that are available to download will say "Free with GOLD" at the bottom. Tap A to select a game.

Using the XBOX Website

Go to https://xbox.com/live/games-with-gold on a browser. This can be on a computer, phone, or tablet.

Click on the profile icon in the top right. This will bring you to a sign in screen.
- If you are already signed in to your XBOX Gold account, you can skip this step.

Sign in with your Microsoft account. Enter your email followed by your password and click Next. This should be the account associated with your XBOX Gold Membership.

Select Games with Gold. This is near the middle of the screen.

Select a game. Click on it to view and download the game to your console.
