How to Find Users on Spotify on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to find friends on the Spotify app for Android phones. The only way to search for users on Android smartphones and tablets is to link your Spotify account to your Facebook account. If the user you are searching for is not on your Facebook friends list, you will need to log in to the Spotify desktop client on your computer in order to search for their username.

Open Spotify. It's the green circular app with three black curved lines in the middle.
- You can download Spotify from the Google Play Store and log in to Spotify with your username and password if you haven't already done so.

Tap Your Library. It's the icon with three lines that resemble books on a shelf in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

. It's the gear icon in the top-right corner.

Tap Connect to Facebook. If you don't see this option, you may already be signed in to Facebook. If you created your Spotify account with your Facebook account, your account will be permanently linked.

Sign in with your Facebook account. Enter the username (or email address or phone number) and password associated with your Facebook account.
- If you have your login info saved in the Facebook app on your phone, you can tap Continue as [Name] instead to connect that Facebook account.

Tap the Your Library icon again.

Tap your profile image. It's in the top-left corner.

Tap Find Friends. It's just below your profile picture and username.

Tap the "follow" icon across from friends you want to add. It's the icon that looks like a head and shoulders with a plus sign.
