Pokémon Quest is the newest rendition of the Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. It has all 151 original Pokémon, but you’ll need to evolve most Pokémon to catch them all. This wikiHow will give you tips on how to evolve your Pokémon in this game by leveling them.[1] The majority of Pokémon in Pokémon Quest need to level to evolve.
Steps
-
1Go on expeditions with your Pokémon. Expeditions are the way you progress through the game. As you continue through expeditions, you’ll fight wild Pokémon and bosses. After you complete 12 expeditions, you’ll get a buff for the next expedition that guarantees a Power Stone will drop. All the Pokémon on your team will get experience points (XP) at the end of the expedition.
- Use Power Stones to give your Pokémon the advantage in battles. A red stone increases the attack of your Pokémon, a blue stone increases its health (HP), and a yellow stone changes skills.
- Know your Pokémon’s strengths and weaknesses. For example, fire-type Pokémon are strong against grass-type Pokémon. Expeditions also offer a bonus for specific types of Pokémon, and you’ll see a list of which of your Pokémon will get bonuses before you start an expedition. For example, the first expedition favors fighting-type Pokémon, so those Pokémon will get a stat-boosting bonus for the expedition.[2]
-
2Repeat expeditions to get more experience points. If you’re working on leveling a specific Pokémon, you can bring it through an expedition multiple times. Each time, it will get experience points towards leveling and evolving.Advertisement
-
3Use the Level-Up Training feature. You can use duplicate or Pokémon you don’t want in order to level up another Pokémon. The Pokémon used in training will disappear from your collection, but your initial Pokémon will level up in the process. If you use Pokémon that are the same type as your specific Pokémon, that Pokémon will get bonus XP in the training process.
-
4Sign in every day to claim rewards. Players who sign in every day can claim rewards, which may include Power Stones or PM tickets. PM tickets are in-game currency that speed up certain processes, like the training feature.
-
5Decorate your Base Camp. You’ll need PM Tickets to get certain objects to decorate your Base Camp, but some of these decorations provide your Pokémon with a leveling bonus. For example, a Bulbasaur Flag increases experience from Level-Up Training by 1.5.[3]
-
6Watch your Pokémon evolve. As your Pokémon reaches the level it needs to evolve, it will do so automatically.[4]Advertisement
