2Scroll down and tap Languages & input on the Settings menu. This will open your language settings on a new page.
- On some versions of Android, this option may be labeled Language & keyboard or just Language.

3Tap Spell checker on the Languages & input menu. This will open your Android's spell checker settings.

4Slide the switch at the top to . This will turn on your Android's spell checker feature, and enable it for all the text you type in messages, notes, and other apps.
- If you don't see a switch on this page, tap to go back, and look for a switch next to the Spell checker heading on the Language menu.
