This wikiHow teaches you how to edit the display name for one of your Skype contacts when using an iPhone or iPad.
Steps

1Open Skype on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the blue and white cloud icon with an “S” inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

2Tap the contacts icon. It the outline of an address book with a person inside, and it’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

3Select a contact. This opens a chat window.

4Tap the contact’s name. It’s at the top of the chat.

5Tap the pencil icon. It’s next to the contact’s name.

6Enter a new name. To start typing, tap the contact’s current name to bring up the keyboard.

7Tap the check mark. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your contact’s name is now edited.[1]
