How to Edit Your Continue Watching List on Netflix

Is there a show or movie appearing in your Continue Watching list on Netflix that you don't want to continue watching? This wikiHow teaches you how to edit your Continue Watching list on Netflix using the Android or iOS mobile app or a web browser. You can also edit your Viewing History to remove items from both your Viewing History and your Continue Watching list.

Using the Android or iOS Mobile App

Open Netflix. This app icon looks like a stylized, red "N" that you'll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.
- Sign in if prompted.

Tap ⋮. You'll see this three-dot menu icon in the bottom right corner of the movie/show tile in your Continue Watching row.

Tap Remove from Row. The title you've selected will be removed from the Continue Watching section in your Netflix profile.

Using a Web Browser

Go to https://www.netflix.com and sign in. You can use any web browser to edit the Continue Watching row.

Hover your cursor over the title in the Continue Watching row that you want to remove. A menu will appear.

Click the icon that looks like a circle with an X inside. The alternative text, "Remove from row" will pop up when you move your cursor to the icon.
- Click a reason for removing the title and then it will be removed from your Continue Watching row. You can click Undo at the bottom of your screen to undo this action.

Editing Your Viewing History in a Web Browser

Go to https://www.netflix.com/youraccount and sign in. You can use any web browser to edit the Continue Watching row.
- If prompted, select the Netflix profile you normally use.

Click the arrow next to the profile you want to edit. It's under the "Profile & Parental Controls" section and clicking the arrow will expand a menu.

Click View next to "Viewing activity." A new page will load that will show you all the viewing activity for that profile.

Click
next to the title you want to remove from the Continue Watching row. This circle-with-a line-through-it icon will also display the alternative text "Hide from viewing history" when you mouse over it.
- That title will be removed within 24 hours.
- You can also click Hide all at the bottom of the page if you want to remove all the titles from your Continue Watching list.^{[2]
