This wikiHow teaches you how to edit any message you sent in Slack when you're using an Android.
Steps

1Open Slack. It’s the icon with a black “S” on a multicolored background. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

2Tap your user icon. It’s at the top-left corner of Slack. A menu will appear.

3Tap the channel or chat that contains the message. The contents of the conversation will appear.

4Tap and hold the message you want to edit. A list of options will appear.

5Tap Edit. It’s near the bottom of the list.

6Make your edits. You can erase and retype as much of the message as you wish.

7Tap the check mark. It’s at the far-right edge of the typing area. The edited version of your message now replaces the original.
