How to Draw a Pharaoh

Pharaoh is an ancient word that means “Great House.” But it's a word that mostly describes the rulers of ancient Egypt. To draw a pharaoh, you will need to master basic figure drawing. Once you've done that, all you have to do is adorn the figure with the appropriate accoutrements. Here's a quick way to do it.

Steps

Start with two trapezoids and two ovals. The ovals should overlap at the top, but the trapezoids should touch.

Draw four ovals, two on each side of the top trapezoid. These will become arms.

Draw two rectangles at the bottom of the image. These will become legs.

Add two triangles at the bottom of the image. Add another at the top (this will become hair). Finally, draw a long thin rectangle to the right of the image.

Smooth out the image by connecting the shapes. Also draw a tusk shaped beard and add a nose.

Draw the rest of details. This includes eyes, a scepter, and the pattern of his headdress/belt.

Erase unnecessary guidelines.
