Is the background of your illustration looking empty? Add a full moon to it, it will give it a nice touch of mystery.
Steps
-
1Start by drawing a circle. This will be the base of the moon.
-
2Draw the craters. Draw several circles in different sizes on the lower left part of the body.
- It's okay if some of the circles stick out the body's outline.

3Repeat the process. This time draw the cluster of smaller circles in other areas of the body.
- Remember not to press your pencil too hard against the paper because you are going to erase these guidelines later.
-
4Paint your full moon. Use white and grey; it will look better if you softly blend the colors.
- For the craters, use the same technique but invert the order of the colors. If you painted the moon from left to right and from grey to white, paint the craters from white to grey.
-
5Enjoy your picture. You're finished!Advertisement
