How to Draw a Cat Using the Word Cat

Drawing is fun, and drawing cats is even more fun! You already know how to draw a cat the basic way, but this article will show you how to draw one using the letters c-a-t.

Steps

Start with blank piece of paper and the word CAT.
- Get a blank piece of paper.
- Write the letters C - A - T with a centimeter gap between each letters using a pencil.
- Create a hook like shape, on the letter T, at the end, as shown in the image above.

Create the tail first.
- Draw another letter "C" over the existing "C"
- Connect the ends to make the shape of a tail.
- Connect the "C" to the letter "A" as shown.

Create Paws and hind leg.
- Turn the letter "A" into a circle
- Use the hook at the end of the letter "A" to create the shape of back leg.

Draw front paws and Head.
- Draw a mushroom shape at top for the head on letter "T".
- Draw rounded shape on the vertical line of the letter "T" to make the shape of mouth and nose.
- Draw the front paws using the bottom of the letter "T" as a reference.

Apply finishing touches.
- Add any extra details, such as fur or patterns to your liking.
