This wikiHow teaches you how to install the Windows 10 iCloud app on your PC. You can install iCloud on any Windows 10 PC using the Microsoft Store app. The iCloud app is totally free and allows you to sync photos, bookmarks, and other files to your PC from any of your iCloud-connected Apple devices.

1Open the Microsoft Store. You'll find its shopping bag icon in the Windows menu. If you don't see it, press the Windows key on the keyboard, type store into the search bar, and then click Microsoft Store in the results.

3Type icloud and press ↵ Enter. This searches the Microsoft Store for the iCloud app.

5Click the blue Get button. It's toward the top of the store just below the word "Free." iCloud will begin downloading to your PC. Depending on your connection speed, this can take some time—the files required to install iCloud are a bit over 100 MB.
- When the download is complete, the "Get" button will change to "Launch," and iCloud will be added to your Windows menu.

1Open iCloud. You can click the Launch button in the Microsoft Store to open it, or click iCloud in the Windows menu.

2Click Yes to allow the app to run. You'll only have to do this the first time you run iCloud. Once you agree, a small blue-and-white cloud icon will be added to the system tray, which is next to the clock.

3Click the iCloud icon on the system tray. The system tray is usually at the bottom-right corner of the screen. A small iCloud window will expand.
- If you don't see the iCloud cloud icon, click the up-arrow ^' next to the leftmost icon on the system tray to expand additional icons.

4Click Sign In on the iCloud window. This displays the Sign In screen.

5Log in with your Apple ID. Enter your Apple ID (this is usually your email address) and password into the fields, and then click Sign In to continue. A verification code will be sent to your Apple device.

6Tap Allow on your Apple device. Depending on your settings, the alert may have been sent to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Once you tap Allow, a verification number will appear.

7Enter the verification number and click Continue. Once the code is verified, you will be signed into iCloud.

8Choose which info to sync. You can sync the contents of your iCloud Drive, your photos, your mail and calendar (with Outlook, if it's installed), your bookmarks (if you're using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge), and your saved passwords. Anything with a checkmark will be synced.
- You can click Options next to any of these selections to make more customizations, such as syncing only certain photo albums or choosing another web browser for bookmark syncing.
- If you sync your photos, they'll automatically download to C:\Users\(your name)\My Pictures\iCloud Photos\Downloads.[1]

9Click Apply. iCloud is now running on your Windows 10 PC.
- If you're going to sync passwords, you'll be prompted to install a web browser extension for iCloud Keychain. Follow the on-screen instructions to do so.
- If you're syncing bookmarks, you'll be asked if you want to also upload the bookmarks from your PC to iCloud. This would allow you to access these bookmarks on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
