How to Download Playerunknown's Battlegrounds on PC or Mac

Installing Steam

Go to https://store.steampowered.com/about/ in a web browser. Popular ones include Firefox and Chrome.

Click the appropriate download link. The blue Install button should display the correct OS download, but if not, you can click the Apple
or Windows
icon below that button. Your file browser will pop up and you can change the location of the installer downloading location.

Click Ok.

Follow the Installer Setup Wizard. It will lead you through setting up and installing Steam.
- Read any and all agreements before clicking I agree.

Click Install. You will see a progress bar as the installation progresses and finishes.

Getting PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Open Steam. You can find this in either your Start Menu or Finder.

Log in or Create a Steam Account.
- If you create a Steam account, you will need to enter in your information such as your email address.

Click Store. This is in the upper left of the Steam window.

Click in the search bar. It says “search the store”.

Type in “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” and hit ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. A list of results will appear.

Click the first search result. The game details page will load with information about the game and computer requirements.

Click Add to Cart. Your cart will load.
- You can click Add to Cart for any of the related items, such as the bundle.

Click Purchase for myself. A payment method page will load.

Select a payment method and enter your information. Click on "Please select a payment method" to select a payment method from the drop-down menu, then enter your payment information.
- You can choose between using payment methods like a credit card and PayPal.
- If you picked PayPal as your payment method, you need your email address and PayPal password. If you picked to pay by credit card, you will need your card information.

Click Continue once you’ve entered your payment information. A page will load with the details of your purchase.

Click Purchase.
- Your download will begin, and you will need to have Steam open to play the game.
