This wikiHow teaches you how to download any text file from your iCloud storage, and add it to your Notes app, using an iPhone or iPad. You can access the note anytime in your Notes app.

2Tap the Browse icon on the bottom-right. This button looks like a gray folder icon on a navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. It will open a list of all the file locations you can browse.Advertisement

4Tap, hold, and release the note you want to download. A black toolbar will pop up over the selected file.
- You can download .txt, .rtf, .rtfd, and .html files from iCloud and import them to your Notes app.

6Tap Share on the toolbar. This will open all your sharing options on a new pop-up menu.

7Tap Add to Notes on the Share menu. You can find it next to the Mail option here. This will allow you to download the text file from iCloud, and add it your Notes app.

8Tap the yellow Save button on the top-right. When your download is finished, you'll have the option to edit and save the text file to your Notes app.
- After saving, you can open and read the note from your Notes app.
- You can add your captions or comments into the "Add text to your note" field in the pop-up here.
- This will save as a new note by default. If you want to save it to an existing note, tap Choose Note at the bottom, and select where you want to save it.
