Tab for a Cause is a Chrome extension that lets you donate to charity straight from Chrome. If you are a Chrome user and like donate to charity, this is the article for you!
Steps
-
1Open a new tab on Chrome. You can only donate if you open a tab. Opening tabs also gives you hearts, and you can use hearts to donate. You can't donate with 0 hearts. You still need to open a tab if you have hearts because more hearts=good, and you probably actually open a website on that tab your browser automatically opens, and you can’t donate without the New Tab page.
-
2Click on the button in the top right corner. This brings up a menu that has options, including the donate option. You can also click on the heart button. The heart button brings up a menu with only things related to hearts, while the normal menu button has all the settings/options.Advertisement
-
3Click on "Donate Hearts." This will bring up a menu with some, but not all charities. You can donate to any charity you want to donate to that’s on the list.
-
4Click the donate button on the charity you want to donate to. You can donate your current number of hearts, or a specific number. If you donate a specific amount, you’ll still have some hearts left.
-
5Click "Done." The "Done" button confirms that you donated, and you have to click it to get out of the pop-up. After you click done, the donation gets sent to the charity. Good job! You successfully donated using Tab for a Cause on Chrome.Advertisement
