How to Delete an Adwords Account

    Go to https://www.google.com/adwords in a web browser. If you’re not already signed in to AdWords, click SIGN IN at the top-right corner of the screen to sign in now.
    • You must be the account administrator to cancel your account.
    • Billing must be set up on the account before it can be canceled.

    Click the wrench icon. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
    • This might look like a gear in some versions of AdWords.

    Click Preferences. It’s under the ″Setup″ header.

    Click Account Status. This expands more options.

    Click Cancel my account. A confirmation message will appear.
    • If you don’t see this option, make sure you’re logged into an account that has administrative access.

    Confirm your cancellation. The account is now canceled.
    • If you have money in the account, it will be refunded to you within 4 weeks.
    • If you have an outstanding balance, you will still need to pay it.
    • If you want to reactivate your account in the future, sign in, click the Settings icon, click Account settings, then Reactivate this account.[1]
