This wikiHow teaches you how to remove any contact's name and information from your contacts list on Telegram, using a computer.
Steps

1Open the Telegram desktop app on your computer. The Telegram icon looks like a white paper plane in a blue circle. You can find it in your Applications folder on a Mac, and on your Start menu on Windows.
- If you don't already have the Telegram desktop app, you can download it from Telegram's Apps page, or just use the web app in your browser.

2Click the three horizontal lines icon. This button is located in the upper-left corner of your chats list. It will open your navigation menu.

3Click Contacts. This option is listed next to a phonebook icon on your navigation menu. It will open a list of all your contacts.

4Click the contact you want to delete. Find the contact you want to delete on your contacts list, and click their name. It will open a conversation between you and this contact.

5Click the three vertical dots icon. This button is in the upper-right corner of your chat conversation with your selected contact. It will open a drop-down menu.

6Click View profile on the menu. It will open this contact's account info and details.

7Click DELETE. This option is written in blue letters in the upper-right corner of your contact's information page. You will have to confirm your action in a new pop-up window.

8Click DELETE in the pop-up window. This will confirm your action, and remove this contact from your Telegram contacts list.
- Deleting a contact on Telegram will not remove them from your phonebook. You can still find their name and number in your phone's contacts list.
