How to Defeat Adam the Clown in Dead Rising

Many people say that the psychopath Adam McIntyre in Dead Rising is difficult to defeat. This strategy is an alternative one - no fire-arms needed. It's more amusing than the standard "blow his head off with a shotgun" strategy, but it does take a little longer.

Steps

Lead Adam away from the ride, and into the play-pen type area down on the ground floor - the area with a giant football and toy cubes.

Grab a couple of Cubes (the white ones with coloured panels on each face) and make sure you have some form of throwable knife or gun if that's what you prefer (Hunting Knives are preferred by some).

Keep as far away from Adam as possible whilst still staying within throwing range.

Keep avoiding his lunges and make sure the chainsaws don't make contact - DO NOT attempt to jump-kick him; he'll most likely retaliate with his chainsaw windmill, which does a hell of a lot of damage.

Wait until he starts to blow a balloon up then throw a Cube at him. He will fall over and breathe fire onto the flammable gas inside the balloon. This does reasonable damage to Adam, plus it gives you a fantastic window to throw knives (or anything else, for that matter) at him.

Throw knives at Adam whenever he stops to laugh and play with his chainsaws.

Warnings

Melee attacks aren't recommended as he can hit you with his chainsaws, or his fire-breath if you've just knocked him over.

Things You'll Need

Some of the toy Cubes which can be found in the fight-area.
A throwable weapon - preferably knives.
Firearms if you prefer them to knives, some would recommend the knives, just because they're more interesting than guns.
