This article teaches you how to create and set up a new Google account from an Android device. Setting up a Google account is simple and quick, just follow the given steps.
Steps

1Open the Android's Settings app. It looks like a cog wheel. Once you locate it, click on it to open your settings.

2Scroll down to Accounts.

3Tap Add Account. This will bring up a selection of different accounts that you can add.

4Tap Google.

5Tap Create Account.

6Enter your name and tap Next.
- Enter your first name into the first blank and last name into the second blank.

7Tap your desired username and tap Next.
- This username will come before the "@gmail.com" part of your email address. If your desired username is taken then you'll be told to select the given suggestions.

8Create a password and tap Next.
- Your password must be at least 8 characters long and should contain letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Type it the same into both boxes to confirm.

9Enter your phone number and tap Next or Skip to forgot it.
- You'll be asked to add a phone number if you want. This phone number can be used to verify your identity. Tap Yes, I'm in to add your number or Skip to forget it.

10Review the terms of service and tap I agree.

11Tap Next to sign in.
