Pasta or noodles and scrambled eggs is an unusual combination in most countries. If you need to make a meal with carbohydrates and protein and can't run to a tuna sandwich, scrambled eggs on toast or anything conventional, you can cook pasta and combine with with scrambled eggs.
Ingredients
- Pasta (your choice) or noodles
- Salt (to taste)
- Egg
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- Seasoning (for the pasta)
Steps
-
1Bring 6 cups of water and a teaspoon of salt to a boil. Alternatively use the quantity of water suggested on the packaging for the quantity of noodles or pasta you require.[1]
-
2Add noodles or pasta to the pot to cook. Be guided by the packaging to cook to best results.[2]
-
3Test the noodles to ensure they are soft enough to eat.
-
4Take noodles or pasta out of pot and put into a strainer.
-
5Shock noodles for 30 seconds (rinse under cold water) and put in a bowl.[3]
-
6Scramble an egg in a frying pan and place in a bowl.[4]
-
7Melt 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine in the frying pan.
-
8Put noodles in the frying pan and season.
