The National College Athletic Association, or the NCAA, is a national nonprofit that helps regulate college athletes. Contacting them can be tough, as they are such a large organization. Fortunately, there are a few ways to get in touch with the football division of the NCAA, whether you are a student athlete or a member of the public.
Steps
Method 1
Method 1 of 2:Calling, Faxing, or Sending a Letter
-
1Call 317-917-6222 to speak to a representative. If you’d like to get in contact with the NCAA right away, the fastest option is to call their national office. You can ask questions about student athlete eligibility, division classifications, or ticketing inquiries.[1]
- The NCAA office is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.
-
2Send documents or letters to the NCAA's post office box. If you need to mail in documents or you are okay with waiting for a response, you can send a letter in the mail to their P.O. Box. Someone will take a look at your letter and write back, although it could take a few weeks.[2]
- Make sure you include a phone number in your letter in case the office needs to contact you quickly.
- Their address is:
The National Collegiate Athletic Association
700 W. Washington Street
P.O. Box 6222
Indianapolis, Indiana 46206-6222
-
3Fax documents or letters to 317-917-6888. If you have access to a fax machine and you need to send the NCAA office documents for your eligibility, you can fax them directly instead of sending them through the mail.[3]
Tip: Many student resource centers on college campuses have fax machines that you can use for free.
Method 2
Method 2 of 2:Contacting the NCAA Online
-
1Search for answers on the NCAA’s FAQ page. If you have questions about you or your student’s eligibility to be in the NCAA, you can look through their frequently asked questions, or FAQ, on the website. Either scroll through the topics or type your question into the search box for a specific answer.[4]
- You can search their FAQ by visiting https://cbts.egain.cloud/kb/ncaahelp/home.
- You can find information on academic requirements, your NCAA ID number, and the different division classifications and eligibility.
-
2Find NCAA schools by searching the directory. If you are curious about eligible schools near you or you want to find out which ones have a football program, look through the NCAA directory. You can search by state, sport, or division, depending on what you are looking for.[5]
- To look through their directory, visit https://web3.ncaa.org/directory/.
-
3Email tickets@ncaa.org if you have ticketing issues. If you have any questions about tickets that you bought to a game or season passes, you can send your question via email to the NCAA ticketing department. It may take a few days for a representative to get back to you with an answer.[6]
Tip: Be sure you include a good phone number to contact you on and any pertinent information about your tickets, like an order or delivery code.
-
4Direct factual errors to NCAAsupport@turner.com. If you are reading something on the NCAA website and you find an error or a mistake, you can let the main office know so that they can correct it. Be specific about the website URL and what the corrected fact should say.[7]
- You should only use this email for factual error corrections, not general inquiries.
-
5Contact the shop help desk for questions about merchandise. If you ordered something online from the NCAA store and you need help or have a question, you can chat with a help desk representative online. Make sure you have your order number ready so they can look up what you purchased.[8]
- Chat with the help desk by visiting https://www.shopncaasports.com/helpdesk/Customer.
