Every Dyson product comes with a warranty attached to it that lasts 1 year. If there are any defects in the materials or workmanship of your Dyson product, you can claim your warranty to fix your problem free of charge. All you need is your receipt and your model number to contact the Dyson helpline and easily fix or replace your product.

Method 1
Method 1 of 2:
Getting Immediate Assistance

  1. 1
Call 1-866-693-9766 to speak to a representative. To get help with your warranty question right away, call the Dyson helpline on Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm CST, or on Saturdays from 9am to 6pm CST. Have your order number and receipt ready so you can give them your information to claim your warranty.[1]
    • You can find out where to take your defective product and if you’ll need a full replacement or just a new part by talking to a representative.
    • Unfortunately, the helpline is closed on Sundays.
  2. 2
Start a chat to get help online. If you’d like to message a Dyson representative online, you can click on the yellow circle with the chat bubble in it at the left corner of your screen. Then, answer the prompts to be directed to the person who can help you with your warranty question.[2]

Tip: At first, you’ll be chatting with a bot. As you work your way through the prompts, you will eventually be connected to a real person.

  3. 3
Send an email to questions@dyson.com as an alternative. If you’d like to write out your question about your warranty or you can’t get ahold of Dyson over the phone, try sending them an email with your inquiry. Make sure you include your order number so the Dyson representative can look up your information.[3]
    • Try writing something like, “Hi there, I have an inquiry about the warranty on an order I made a month ago. If I have used my product twice and now it won’t turn on, is that still covered under the warranty? My order number is 24589. Thank you.”

Tip: Most email questions are answered within 2 hours, even if it’s not during normal business hours.

Mailing Documents and Finding More Information

  1. 1
Send documents or letters by mail. If you’d like to submit a receipt or an order form, you can put it in an envelope and mail it to the Dyson head office. Make sure to include your order number, your return address, and your phone number.[4]
    • Include details like, “Hi there, I’ve included my receipt from my recent purchase and I’d like to claim my warranty. My order number is 78634 and my phone number is 515-555-2849.”
    • Address your letter to:
      Dyson Inc.
      600 W. Chicago Ave, Suite 275
      Chicago, IL
  2. 2
Find what is covered under the warranty by visiting the Dyson website. If you have a general question about what is and isn’t covered under the Dyson warranty, try checking out the warranty page online to see if you can answer your question. You can also find out how to claim a warranty or replace defective parts.[5]
  3. 3
Learn about the Dyson return policy by visiting their website. If you’d like to return your product for your money back, you can determine whether or not your product is eligible by reading their returns page. Most products have to be returned within 90 days of purchase.[6]
