Did you know that every time you search Google, the data collected from your search is saved (including any locations or personal information you add to the search)? You'll probably want to protect your privacy by removing that data. This wikiHow article will teach you how to clear past Google searches, thus securing some of your personal data.

Select All time and click to check the box next to "Search." The Google search icon looks like a multicolored "G" in a white circle. You'll find it near the bottom of the menu.
    • If you're aware of a search that you performed that you want to delete, choose a different date for the "Filter by date" section.
  4. 4
Click Apply. The page will refresh to show you Google searches that are saved.
  5. 5
Click X next to the search you want to delete. You might get a pop-up window that lets you know what else you can delete. You'll also see a notification window pop-up in the left corner that the deletion has started.
    • The notification will disappear automatically as soon as the search is deleted.
    • You can scroll down the page and delete as many items as you want.
