Grab an old toothbrush and stir your mixture until the lather starts to form.

Dip the toothbrush in your soapy concoction and gently rub it along the stains in your neoprene merchandise. Do not scrub too hard, because you do not want to destroy the material.^{[2]

Once you feel your item is as clean as it is going to get, run it under cold water to remove any excess soap.

Lay the merchandise flat in front of a fan and let it air dry. Avoid hanging it on a hanger or clothespins; that will only stretch out the material.

Do not use hot water, as cleaning a bright neoprene item in hot water may cause it to run.
