How to Check Your Bandwidth Usage on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to look up the details of your mobile data usage in monthly cycles, using Android.

Steps

    Open your Android's Settings app. Find and tap the

    icon on your Apps menu to open your Settings.

    Tap Data usage. It's located under the "Wireless & Networks" heading on the Settings menu.
    • If you don't see this option on the menu, tap More under Wireless & Networks. This will open more menu options, including Data usage.

    Tap Cellular data usage. This option will open the details of your mobile data usage.
    • On some devices, this option may be named Mobile.

    Tap the Data usage cycle button. This will open a list of different monthly cycles you can select and inspect.
    • On some devices, you may have to tap the dates under the "Data usage cycle" heading.

    Select a monthly cycle. This will open your mobile data usage details for the selected period of time. You can see your monthly data usage details here.
    • Some devices will show you a list of your mobile apps, and a breakdown of your data usage into every app. Others will only show you the total data usage per month.
