The Apple Watch allows you to change its name, which can make it easier to find in a list. This wikiHow shows you how to change the name of your Apple Watch.

Steps

Open the Apple Watch app on the paired iPhone or iPad. The app icon looks like a side view of the watch.
- If you cannot find the Apple Watch app, swipe right on your home screen and type "Watch" in the search field at the top of the screen. Tap on the icon when it appears in the search results.
- You cannot change the Apple Watch's name from the Apple Watch itself. You must use a paired iOS device to change the Apple Watch's name.

Tap the My Watch tab.

Tap General. You'll see General next to a gear icon.

Tap About.

Tap the text field next to Name. This line shows the current name of your device.

Enter the new name for your Apple Watch.
