To change the measurement units on a Mac, click on the Apple menu → Click on "System Preferences" → Click on "Language & Region" → Select temperature units → Click on "Advanced" → Then, select measurement and currency units.

1Click on the Apple menu. It's the black, apple-shaped icon in the upper-left of your screen.

3Click on Language & Region.

4Click on the drop-down menu next to "Temperature." It's on the right side of the dialog box. Select Fahrenheit or Celsius for units of temperature.

5Click on Advanced.

6Click on the drop-down menu next to "Measurement Units." Choose from U.S., U.K. or metric.

7Click on the drop-down menu next to "Currency." Select your preferred currency unit.

8Click on OK. You've now changed your Mac's units of measurement to your preferred settings.
- Changing these settings will change the default units your Mac uses when it displays such information in places like the menu bar or the Notifications Center.
